Most commonly, tumours of the skin are basal cell carcinoma, spinalioma or melanoma.
After the diagnosis by means of a soft tissue examination and the removal of the skin tumour, the plastic covering is left in the foreground.
This flaw can be concealed through means of mobilising the nearby skin.
Location
Like all of our surgical operations, skin tumours will be removed at our clinic here in Munich, on Cuvilliésstraße.
Anaesthetic
The skin tumour can be removed under local anaesthesia, half sleep (premedication/sedation) or under general anaesthesia.
Post operation
Generally, the removal of tumours is well tolerated without complications.
After the operation you will receive cool compresses from us to aid the healing process.
Typically, the majority of swelling and bruising disappears within only a few days.
For your convenience, we are not only contactable during our clinic’s open hours, but are also reachable on the go, 24 hours a day.
Your stitches will be removed five days after your operation.
